About Us
Lone Star Outdoors was started in 2020 by two friends in the midst of a global pandemic. We started out with a goal to create a modern shooting range for people of all skill levels and demographics. Like any project it has to start somewhere, at this time we are selling firearms, firearm accessories, and merchandise. We would like to create a brand that is known not just for firearms but for an all around outdoors experience.
Our Story
Brett and Tyler met in high school and have kept in touch since. Tyler attended Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics programming. Brett attended Trinity University where he obtained his Bachelors in Phycology. He later attended Tarleton State University and obtained his Masters in Business Administration. After college their paths crossed again when they started working for the same large corporation. It was not until 3 years later that they came up with this idea to fill a gap in their community.
